Interview With Ros Fry

Here is our interview with Dorset freelance Arts Marketer Ros Fry.

 

 

Rosalyn Fry has been marketing the arts since 1982. She spent six years at the Commonwealth Institute in Kensington followed by three years as Senior Press Officer at the SouthBank Centre, the world’s largest centre for the arts and went freelance in 1990. She moved to Dorset in 1996 and works as a practitioner as well as consultant with a variety of South West clients including Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts, Arts Council South West , the Arts Institute, Bournemouth and Creative Dorset.

Ros has devised and delivered a variety of marketing, PR and Presentation courses for the Arts Institute, Bournemouth, Dartington College of Arts,  Creative Partnerships, the Arts Marketing Association, Arts Council England, Arts Matrix, Audiences London, the Theatrical Management Association, University of Westminster and Birkbeck College. She is an experienced facilitator and trainer.

Ros has a first class honours degree in Media Studies from the University of Westminster.

In 2007 she became a director of West Mead Creative Ltd. with Chris Huxley. The company is based in Bridport, West Dorset with clients across the UK.
