Award - winning drama Company Wimborne Drama get topical with their upcoming production of Badger’s Green at The Tivoli Theatre Wednesday 15th - Saturday 17th May 2008.  
Though written in the 1930s, Sheriff’s comedy proves relevant today, as a rural town quietly minding its own business finds itself under the unsolicited scrutiny of a London property developer.
The townspeople may be pulling hair to protect their heritage, but will they succeed in fending off the London Big Wigs?
As the residents divide themselves in favour of preservation or progress,   opinions become heated and passions ignited, climaxing in a sensational finale at the annual village cricket match.
This timely play will undoubtedly strike a chord with residents of Wimborne, where plans have been proposed to build a supermarket on the local cricket pitch.
Directed by Paul Hewitt with leads played by local favourites Jeremy Austin (Dr Wetherby) and David Pile (Major Forrester) stunning sets and detailed costumes, this witty, timely show is guaranteed to impress drama fans across the board.
